PLUM DESIGN STUDIO

Hi! We're Jon and Melissa, and we are thrilled to welcome you into the world of Plum Design Studio!

Founded in 2022, Plum Design Studio is a small, local, and independently owned business located just north of Toronto.

In 2021, our nephew got his first toddler stand, and after watching him interact with it, we realized that it didn’t incorporate all of the features we felt were necessary, so we embarked on our journey of developing The Platform. Our goal

was simple: create a toddler stand that makes for a more interactive experience for our nephew, while also incorporating features his mama was looking for, like height adjustability and collapsibility. Later that same year, we moved out

of midtown Toronto, where we had resided for ten years, and found ourselves in the country. While we still miss the city,

we have found so much peace and inspiration in our quiet, sleepy town, which has led us down the path of creating

our first offering, The Platform; a toddler stand that incorporates the elements we felt were missing from similar products

in the market.

With years of experience in design, hospitality, events, sales, and communications, we decided to create products that

we would want to purchase. The Platform was inspired by our adoration for our nephew, in combination with our love

of creation, design, and culinary joy.
